CRF 2023 Batch ‘A’ Scholarship Awardees
UPDATE: As stated, a supplementary list has been published HERE. The list below has been edited to delete some candidates who failed to provide banking details that match their other credentials.
We are excited to announce the highly anticipated awardee shortlist of selected candidates due for disbursement in the 6th installation of the main College Relief Fund scholarships.
First and foremost, we would like to express our gratitude to all the students who put the time and effort into the application process. We were inundated with applications, each showing remarkable dedication, enthusiasm, and desire. Your desire to further your education in the current Nigerian system has genuinely inspired us.
We arrived at a selection of outstanding candidates who have demonstrated great potential through a comprehensive and demanding application process that analyzed both financial need and aptitude through exhaustive assessments of academic record and the conducted Aptitude Test which was conducted from the 1st to 5th of May 2023.
Without further ado, we gladly present the selected applicants who have shown outstanding potential in their quest for knowledge and have distinguished themselves among their peers.
Please keep in mind that the selection process was thorough and unbiased, integrating both financial need and aptitude to guarantee a fair assessment and that the most at-need candidates were identified.
The College Relief Fund Scholarship does not consider participants’ tribes, states/regions, or religions.
Taking a need-based-first approach and other merit-based criteria, the most at-need applicants were identified. While there was no cut-off mark, our checks (after the fact) revealed that all awardees scored at least 60% on the aptitude test.
Aside from the need-based approach, criteria such as gender, school sessions, and socioeconomic position are rated and taken into account for evaluation and verification.
All information presented by Tentatively Selected applicants was also cross-checked against real-world facts. This covers school fees (as supplied by applicants against actual fees paid in the student’s school), typical monthly expenses, the average cost of living, and other pertinent data.

We want to emphasize to individuals who did not make the shortlist that this choice does not reduce their talents or potential. The competition was stiff, and we had to make difficult decisions. We urge you to pursue your aspirations and passions further since this is only one step in your educational journey.
We wish to encourage other candidates who didn’t make the final selection to pursue their education with great hope even as we aim to reach more students in the next batch pending funding availability.
We wish to inform some participants that are yet to confirm their scholarship offer to check their emails and respond immediately.
Shortlisted candidates have been contacted individually by email with further information about the next steps in the scholarship process. Please note that the College Relief Fund will never ask you to make payment for any services or to reveal your ATM Card/BVN details. Shortlisted candidates are to only provide their banking details in the space provided on their DASHBOARD
We recognize that the college application process may be difficult and data consuming. As a result, we are committed to providing data rebate through our partners to students like you who have a desire to study but may lack the financial wherewithal to do so. The Data rebates should start being dispensed over the weekend to selected applicants.
For this batch, there may be a supplimentary list to be published after two weeks. This is due to the mismatch of banking details recieved so far. If this persists, we will contact more candidates and update this list.

Please how can I upload my documents to be less than 1mb
I would suggest you take a picture of your documents, transfer them to computer. Then you open each document and right click your mouse and select resize. Thereafter you select the toggle button to toggle to your choice size. I hope this helps.
