🔎 What Changed in 2025?

Following our review, approximately 16% of previously eligible institutions have been delisted from the CRF Scholarship database. While this might seem strict, it is part of our ongoing mission to protect genuine students and ensure that funds are disbursed to candidates who truly meet academic and institutional standards.

Some of the reasons for institution disqualification include:

1. Inconsistent Institutional Records – Universities, polytechnics, or colleges that failed to provide verifiable information regarding student enrollment, accreditation, or program structure. This frustrates our Document Verification Personnel from correctly identifying real applicants.
2. Lack of Proper Accreditation – Schools found operating without approval from recognized educational regulatory bodies such as NUC, NBTE, or NCCE.
3. Questionable Academic Practices – Institutions previously flagged for academic dishonesty, fake transcripts, unrecognized degrees, or grade manipulation.
4. Unresponsive Administrative Records – Schools that failed to cooperate with the verification process or did not submit required compliance documents.
5. Expired or Suspended Licenses – Institutions whose accreditation status has lapsed or has been suspended by regulators.
