Solving Common Portal Issues

At the College Relief Fund (CRF), we’ve been receiving feedback from several applicants regarding issues with their activities on the portal not being properly recorded. Some users have reported:
- Referral Card not turning Green
- Referral links not being tracked.
- Enrollment data not saving.
- Practice Test results not showing.
- Test attempts not being logged correctly.
This can be a frustrating experience for students who are working hard to ensure their applications are in good standing. However, after thorough investigation, we’ve identified that these issues are largely due to the use of ad blockers or script blockers that interfere with our tracking code and the self-proctoring script on the portal.
These tools, designed to block ads or prevent unwanted scripts from loading, can also unintentionally block important components of our website that track individual progress, record test attempts, and ensure that all your data is saved correctly.
Why Are Tracking and Self-Proctoring Important?
The tracking code and self-proctoring script used on the CRF portal are crucial for the following reasons:
Tracking Your Progress: We use these codes to measure how well you’re engaging with the portal, whether that be through practice tests, tests, or referrals. Without these scripts running, your progress may not be accurately recorded.
Saving Data: During enrollment or while filling out forms, we need to ensure that every bit of data is saved accurately. If scripts are blocked, it might prevent us from storing your information correctly, causing delays or errors in your application.
Referral Monitoring: If you’ve been referring friends and classmates to the CRF program, we track these referrals through specific tracking codes. If ad blockers or script blockers are on, we may not be able to log the referrals tied to your account.
Use Chrome for the Best Experience!
For an optimal experience on the CRF portal, we recommend using Google Chrome (Mobile). Chrome is highly compatible with the features of our website, including self-proctoring scripts, tracking codes, and more. By using Chrome, you reduce the likelihood of encountering issues related to blocked scripts.

Conclusion
Ensuring that your activities are recorded properly on the CRF portal is key to a smooth scholarship application process. If you’ve experienced issues with referrals, practice tests, or enrollment, it could be due to ad blockers or script blockers hindering important portal functions.
By disabling these blockers or whitelisting our website, you’ll ensure that your progress and data are saved without issues. Better yet, use Chrome for an optimized and seamless experience as our Portal is certified to have passed all Best Practices by the Google Chrome Team!
