This achievement marks the culmination of an intensive cycle filled with applications, aptitude tests, document reviews, and data analysis. It also reflects our unshakable commitment to transparency, equity, and educational access for deserving students across Nigeria.

Highlights from the Selection Process

This year’s shortlist was drawn from a pool of over 67,000 eligible applicants, each of whom completed multiple stages including a rigorous Aptitude Test and document verification.

Selection was based on:

• ✅ Aptitude Test Performance

  • Minimum shortlisted score: 49%

  • Average shortlisted score: 78%

  • Over 35% of shortlisted candidates scored above 80%

• ✅ Verified Financial Need

  • 62% of shortlisted candidates come from households with a combined income below ₦100,000/month

  • 18% were orphans or sole-sponsored

• ✅ Academic Institution Type

  • 58% from Universities

  • 27% from Polytechnics

  • 15% from Colleges of Education

• ✅ Level of Study

  • 41% are in their 2nd or 3rd year

  • 37% are in 100 Level / ND 1

  • 22% are final-year students

  A Supplementary List will be released within 2 weeks, primarily for candidates with corrected banking details or unresolved documentation. Affected individuals will be contacted.
