About CRF Mini-Scholarships
About Mini-Scholarship Series.
The CRF Mini Scholarships are minor financial aids offered to students on a basis of needs. These disbursements are not necessarily tied to the best or top scorers in the Aptitude Tests.
NOTE: There are no guarantees that an applicant will be awarded a Mini-Scholarship. Please do not reach out to solicit for it.
Financial Amounts:
Unlike the main College Relief Fund scholarships which are pegged at a maximum of N500,000, the Mini-Scholarship will henceforth be disbursed from amounts ranging from N20,000 to a maximum of N100,000.
All financial aids disbursed in the scheme will carry a Transaction Description of “CRF MINI-SCHOLARSHIP”.
Implications:
The Mini-Scholarship grants do not affect a student’s chance of applying for or securing a College Relief Fund Scholarship.
However, beneficiaries who are already enjoying College Relief Fund Scholarships will not be eligible for the Mini-Scholarships.
Criteria:
The criteria for selection will NOT be made public. This is to avoid abuse of the selection process.
Frequency:
While we intend to make the Mini-Scholarships available monthly during periods between new CRF disbursements and new enrolments, we cannot guarantee such commitments. However, the previous month’s lists may be updated to reflect additional beneficiaries.
Next Mini-Scholarship:
The next list is expected to be released on the 30th of May 2021.
